Ahh the melodies that every key produces is my key to a stress-free and mind-soothing dimension. =)
I've been taking piano lessons for a year (lol yea im still a newbie) but I started to go on hiatus this year due to a very tight schedule.
Even so, I still continue to practice every once in a blue moon. Recently, a classical caught my attention and the title is - "Rondo Alla Turca". I've been practicing to master that wonderful piece by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ever since. Still in progress.
But you dont really care do you? gyahaha fear not, my motive of writing typing this entry is not to bore you.

I've found some good stuff for piano newbies today:
A collection of piano tutorials on youtube
A collection of piano lessons on youtube
How to play Rondo Alla Turca
How to play Toccata and Fugue

and here' something to aid the process of downloading files from youtube.

You need not use video converters now that you have this addon. Just directly rename the file extension to .avi and voila! haha courtesy of my friend, ian. thanks dood xD

1. www.pianofiles.com - This site is a sheet music trading site, where you trade sheets you have for sheets other people have. Often times, people will give you the sheets just for the hell of it (if you ask nicely). I got 90% or more of the requests on this site from here. If you have trouble viewing in Internet Explorer, try Mozilla Firefox.
2. Bit Torrent - Another easy way to acquire sheet music is via bit torrent. (If your not familiar with bit torrent, follow the link and read up). Bit torrent, in a nutshell, is a network run basically by people sharing files, and are organized with the use of .torrent files. Often times google is an excellent tool for finding sheet music, and torrents in particular. Google search: "(Insert Name Of Sheet) torrent download". BTW, www.mininova.org, and www.torrentz.com are good search engines for torrent links. Tons of sheets located here: http://www.sheetmusicfox.com/popmusic.html

3. www.pianosheets.org - This is a bit torrent link collection for sheet music only... very useful.

4. www.4Shared.com - This is perhaps the easiest way to acquire a large number of sheets (and growing). On 4Shared's main page, there is a search engine where you can search for any sheet you want (sometimes you can find them, and sometimes you can't). You may also want to try searching for just .pdf files, being this is the most popular format for sharing sheet music. This person's account has a good number of sheets: http://www.4shared.com/dir/2101714/e35b6cb7#

5. http://www.freepianosheets.com/ - a nice (free) collection.

6. http://www.qualitysheetmusic.com/ - A small sheet music community. A number of popular sheets are avaliable for free. Also, check this site's forums, as well.

7. http://my-piano.blogspot.com/ - A lot of popular sheets.

8. http://nephelemusic.ru/eng/index.php?ind=downloads&op=section_view&idev=1 - Yet another good collection of sheets.
