I just watched episode 13 of heroes season 3 and was shocked that the season ended just like that =,= last season also around 11 episodes only haiz dam dissapointing..

everything happened throughout season 3 turn backwards again swt now the story jz get more n more confusing

one of the scene of this episode even lacked the logic factor. There's a new jusco opened at Setiawangsa just recently. I've went there with my family a few times. Not much things but it is definitely bigger than the old alpha angle. Initially we all tot theres cinema there (judging from the size of the building there oughta be some sort of huge entertainment outlet right?) but sadly there's no cinema :( only a karaoke centre which will be open soon

A huge amount of restaurants of different variety occupied almost the entire ground floor. (Kenny Rogers, Sushi King, Big Apple, you name it!) Seriously dam many restaurants there haha. Finnaly theres a foood haven in setapak area xD

Surface Construction Model

Surface construction is basically a building structure which members are united as one homogenous entity to form the structure and space eg. stadium

Our task - to create a surface construction out of papers (200gsm max) that can withstand 1 brick for 30 seconds (something like origami)

Check out our group's surface construction

ours was one of the 2 model which managed to surive four bricks for more than 30 seconds! xD

Took us about 3 days to finish it.. yeah 3 days -.- origami also takes so long swt

But the result itself was enough to make us forget the tedious work we went through

Brunelleshi's Dome

The task was to choose a structure of a masonry structure and then make a model of the structure out of 10 x 10 x 12 mdf blocks and white tacks. We chose the dome of the Florence Cathedral as shown in the above picture.

The whole thing is super big and super heavyy! Took us about 2 weeks to finish this (including all the calculations and stuffs).. dam tiring =.=

Building Construction model

OMFG we spent 5 days only to complete 30% of our dome model WTF everyday stayback till 9pm come back at 10pm, dam tiring weiiii

All the tedious work like doing friggin measurements, make sure the white tack is consistent, the blocks are stable and intact

ARRRGGHHH the worse part is, the whole model is only worth 10%

What a day!

After a tiring day at college, I decided to head down to the KTM station at 5.30pm. When I got there, I was shocked by the big crowds standing still waiting for the train to come. So I stood there with them, and I waited patiently. 30 minutes passed by, still no train. After another 15 minutes, a train finally arrived. "Finally!" I thought. But no! The damn train was fillled and packed. "NOOOO!!!" It is kind of funny though, people using brute force to push the passenger inside even though it is EXTREMELY packed already haha I should have took a picture of the train condition. One fella in his 40's got fed up and scold the passenger inside for not standing closer to each other so as to give way for more passengers to board the train. "Bloody fool!" he yelled while giving angry hand gestures at the sardine-packed crowd. I wanted to laugh but the fact that I had to wait for another 15 minutes just killed my mood. The 3rd train arrived at 6.10pm. I got on the train and I felt abit relieved. But what the hell? The train is undergoing a maintenance or some sort coz it was stopping in the middle of the track for about 3 minutes then move, then stop, then move, rinse and repeat. Damnit! stuck at the KTM for 1 and a 1/2 hour! When I got to KL central, it was already 6.45pm. I walked up to the LRT station and saw people running up the excalator, so i ran. Up till when I was a few inch away from the LRT door, the door closed! My day just got worse! >:(

My initial plan was to drop by at KLCC to buy some books. No choise but to cancel it for it was already too late. Sigh!

I feel better now releasing all that anger. Sorry for ur time! Have a nice day! :)

Wth, about 4.20 pm earlier, Taylor's PJ campus carpark basement was on fire! The alarm rang and only after 15minutes later did we realized that it was no false alarm LOL, so everyone ran down the stairs with joy and excitement coz class was dismissed early haha! When i reached the ground, I saw smokes and a Bomba truck rushing it's way to the carpark basement. And it was no minor smoke but thick foggy smoke! Damn haha, I still don't understand why so many people are still there standing worrying about the situation where they should have just ran for their lives.

Today, my Intro to Design class organized a study trip to KL central market. We went to the annexe gallery, a very isolated area at KL central market, for the Naive Art Exhibition. Naive art, as I was told, is art that is done in a very childish way.

Family Time

It's a funny situation when i am sitting down on my couch catching my favourite wrestling show on TV where my parents are forced to watch it with me. xD My father just said that he can memorize all the wrestler's faces and names haha. During this hours, we would have family discussions about stuffs that happened at work, at college, at school. Haha we would burst into laughter at times when a funny topic pops out. That is one of the family time that my parents and i share which i truly appreciate. :)

I am so glad that i can finally get my ass off the comfortable computer chair once and for all!

So, I had finished my orientation week at Taylor's. Taylor's petaling campus is situated at leissure commence square which is basically a building of office blocks. Learning in that environment is much more different than that in high school and I believe that from that we can prepare ourselves for what is to come in the future when we architecture, construction management and quantity surveying students graduate. I have to admit that college is very much enjoyable especially the socializing part. I got to know so many people on my first day and made a lot of new friends too! Some of the friends i have made are Jose, Jonathan, Ashwin, Xi Xu, Yee Shuian, Jeevitha and many more! So for those who are facing low self esteem problems (like myself xD) ,dont fret! coz going to college is another means of boosting self esteem! haha! Ok, sorry for the outburst of none sense. Now, I'll continue writting this post in a formal way. xD

My parents have been asking me " How do you like architecture so far?" and I answered, "Yes! my enthusiasm in the wonderful man made structures are growing ever more deeply than before!" Truth be told, I only answered a simple "Interesting, mum/dad." xD But the message before was conveyed from my heart. =D Architecture is very fun. I've been waiting eagerly to build my own model after I saw my seniors putting so much effort into building theirs'. And then there was this video about the Burj Dubai (the tallest man made structure upon completion) and the Hoover Dam shown during my Building Materials class expanded my enthusiasm in architecture even more!

Time is seriously a constrain once you have make it into college. I have like 4 - 5 assignments already on my 3rd week! WoW! There goes my precious hours for late night movies and EPL games. Farewell. =[

Ok, no more time to waste. I am off to do my assignments!

Education Fair 2008

Education fair 2008 was held on the last weekends. There I was, at KLCC, attending talks and visiting various booths at the exhibition hall. On the saturday exhibition, there weren't many people and the crowd was small; probably because parents are busy working on that particular day. But the Sunday one, Fuhhyoohh, overcrowded! During the talk session, an estimated number of 60 people were standing behind the seats in the hall which was fully occupied with students and parents.haha, I was lucky i made it on time, or else I'd be there standing for hours.

Okay, the saturday talk was about Career experience, Engineering and ICT. I'd enjoyed the one about career experience. One of the speakers was Alex Yoong, our Malaysian F1 driver, the other speaker was *forgot wad name* a journalist, and the other was Ng Khai Lee a web designer I think,lol. It was nice to hear them sharing their experience they gained throughout their journey to become a professional. Ng Khai Lee specifically shared his 5 strategies which have helped him accomplish his successful achievements:
1) While studying overseas, do not socialize with Malaysians, instead socialize with other people.
2) Do not get a part time job, instead, join student clubs or other beneficial activities that will help to build character and experiences.
3)Get to know the lecturers more

Then there was the talk about ICT. The total estimated time was insuficcient for the speakers to complete their presentation so the period for the ICT talk was lengthen. First was the introduction to ICT majors, then the other was a maxis promotion presentation (I found this very boring, I was expecting a talk but she ended up promoting maxis products), the last one is about game production. The game production talk was the most interesting amongst the rest as the speaker *sorry forgotten his name* displayed a diagram as to how each component in a game is conected to one another, like a chain reaction, if one malfunctions so will the other (my my, complications at its best! xD) I believe that would be one of the major reason that had change one of my friend's thought of enrolling in game production courses haha. I don't blame him, the complication scared me too. After the talk, I went shopping for brochures at the exhibition halls together with my other group of friends. First, we went to the one academy ( oh! kidchan was there xD) then LimKokWing then Taylors. After that we'd decided to drop by at the Fish Market(no not a market, but a restaurant haha) to have lunch. Food was expensive but satisfying. Thereafter, one of my friend part ways with us coz he had no interest in the engineering talk.

Trip to Kuantan

Last friday my family and i went on a vacation to a hotel in Kuantan which was rated 5 stars, this rating was probably given by some amateur coz the architecture and size of the hotel doesnt spell "5 stars". So we've checked in, then found out that internet access requires payment which i believe that wasn't stated in the package they displayed on their website. RM1.90 per minute, isn't that abit too much? even cyber cafes don't charge that much! One day internet access demanded a payment of RM57. 57ringgit, add another 10 ringgit and i can pay for one month's streamyx fee. aiyo

There's no interesting activities available in kuantan. We went there solely for the reason to hunt for good food and enjoy the facilities provided by the hotel. It was monsoon season when we were there, the monsoon breeze was devastating! My meals almost got blown away while I was having lunch near the beach haha. At the beach, we saw people flying kites, sufring, swimming, blabla the usual beach activities

hmm, haha guess there's not much to write about the trip.

SPM Day 10

21/11/07. I shall remember this day well. This is the day we spm candidates sat for physics. Physics, a subject i was hoping to obtain a distinction. Anyhow, that dream turned to dust, blown by the strong gust, turned into rust. (wooots it rhymes! xD) haha If it wasn't for this damn flu i caught the night before, garghhhh!!! Oh well, it's no use crying over spilt milk they say.. so, let bygones be bygones. Right now im praying so hard for a miracle to happen that is to get that distinction that i was so pumped up for. Gyahaha, till then, all the best and good luck to all my comrades. The war will end in 5 days, stay strong guys!

homg, chemistry's next! what am i to do? (".) the only thing i remember is contact process no more no less haha oh well, i'll try my best anyway.

SPM 2007 has started. It's the fourth day of the exam week. Hmm, so now that BM, BI, history and maths is over, I feel much more relieved. But then again, there is more to come. Haha, the war shall continue tomorrow. For now, rest well comrades. I wish you SPM candidates the best of luck!

Graduation Day

27/10/2007 marks the day we seniors graduate from SMK Seksyen 5 Wangsa Maju.

The assembly started off with us seniors greeting each other. I felt awkward wearing the costume which we were required to wear. I felt like i'm no more a kid, but an adult. haha.It was fun having to see everyone in their costumes; how they look like as an adult. After the cheerful gathering, we sign our names in the name list and headed straight to the hall to our respective seats.

We sat there and waited for half an hour before the VVIP, which was the Education Minister of Malaysia, arrived. The VVIP then witnessed the Silat performance by the Silat members before he enter the hall and took his seat. I couldn't get a vivid view of what was happening that moment but i'm pretty sure they did good because the spontaneous applause was overwhelming. After the performance, the Headmistress of our school stood up and gave a speech which was followed by someone important from PIBG and the VVIP. The speech, which lasted for half an hour, was overall dull and boring, though some part of it really boosted up my will towards succession in SPM.

After the tedious speech, the seniors took turn getting up from row to row, towards the stage, and receive the graduation certificate from the VVIP. Chan Meng Kiat, a fellow friend of mine, gave an overwhelming 180 degree bow before he reach his hands out for the certificate. I really admire his courage and the respect he showed in doing so. haha.

Thereafter, the attendees departed from their seats and went up the stage when the class members were required to. Each class took pictures together with the headmistress and VVIP. The flashes from the cameras made me dizzy. I wonder how celebrities survive from the camera assaults by paparazis haha.

Uh-oh, time flies so fast without me even noticing it. I am going to miss the school and my beloved teachers. Till time tears us apart, I will forever cherish the memory i gained in SMK Seksyen 5 Wangsa Maju.

Ahh the melodies that every key produces is my key to a stress-free and mind-soothing dimension. =)
I've been taking piano lessons for a year (lol yea im still a newbie) but I started to go on hiatus this year due to a very tight schedule.
Even so, I still continue to practice every once in a blue moon. Recently, a classical caught my attention and the title is - "Rondo Alla Turca". I've been practicing to master that wonderful piece by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ever since. Still in progress.
But you dont really care do you? gyahaha fear not, my motive of writing typing this entry is not to bore you.
